FAQS
-
Q1: How much power can the SP100L generate?
A:Under ideal conditions, the 100W solar panel can produce up to 90W of power. Actual output can vary based on factors like sunlight intensity, weather, temperature, shading, and panel orientation. For the best results, try to position the panel to get as much direct sunlight as possible.
-
Q2: How to set up the solar panel for optimal performance?
A:1. After unfolding the panel, position it to face the sun directly, keeping the surface free from shadows (like from trees or buildings).
2. In the morning or late afternoon, try tilting the panel at a steeper angle to capture more sunlight. At midday, laying it flat is usually most effective. -
Q3: Is the solar panel waterproof?
A:The SP100L is rated IP67, so it's splash-resistant but not fully waterproof. It's best not to leave it in the rain or submerge it in water for long periods.
Note: If the solar panel is submerged, do not leave it underwater for more than 5 hours. Let it dry completely before using it again. -
Q4: Can the SP100L be connected with other brands or types of solar panels?
A:The SP100L is compatible for connection in series or parallel with BLUETTI's PV100L and PV100D models. However, we recommend avoiding the connection with other brands or types of solar panels. Differences in voltage and current may cause performance issues or potential safety concerns.
-
Q5: Can the SP100L charge third-party power stations?
A:Yes, provided that the power station:
1. Uses MC4 connectors, and
2. Matches the solar panel's voltage specifications. -
Q6: What is the compatibility of the SP100L solar panel?
A:The SP100L is compatible with all BLUETTI portable power stations.
Here are the approximate charging times for some popular models (under ideal sunlight conditions):
● EB3A (268Wh): 3.2 hours with 1×SP100L
● AC2A (204Wh): 2.5 hours with 1×SP100L
● AC50B (448Wh): 5 hours with 1×SP100L
● AC60 (403Wh): 4.5 hours with 1×SP100L
● AC70 (768Wh): 4.4 hours with 2×SP100L
Note: For other BLUETTI or third-party products, refer to the product manual or reach out to our customer support to verify compatibility. -
Q7: How to figure out how many solar panels can be used on a power station?
A:1. Check your power station's solar input limits, including voltage, current, and power.
2. Verify the solar panel's specs, such as open-circuit voltage (Voc), maximum power current (Imp), and maximum output power (Pmax).
3. Decide how to connect your panels and calculate how many you can use:
● In series: This increases voltage while keeping the current the same.
For example, if your power station can handle 60V and each panel has a voltage of 19V, you can connect up to 3 panels in series (60V ÷ 19V = 3.15).
● In parallel: This keeps voltage the same but adds the current.
For example, if your power station can handle 20A and each panel provides 5A, you can safely connect up to 4 panels in parallel (20A ÷ 5A = 4).
Of course, no matter how you connect the panels, make sure the total voltage and power stay within your power station's limits. -
Q8: Can this solar panel be installed on a roof or car?
A:It's not recommended to mount this panel directly on roofs or cars.
-
Q1: How does the Bluetti subscription work?
The Bluetti subscription allows you to pay a monthly fee for your AC180 Solar Portable Power Station. You can cancel whenever you like and return your AC180 Solar Portable Power Station with no hidden fees. We send you a shipping label (return costs on us), and you return your AC180 Solar Portable Power Station in the original packaging. -
Q2: What’s included with the Bluetti subscription?
The Bluetti subscription includes a brand new or like-new AC180 Solar Portable Power Station (normally a $999 product to purchase) and a warranty for as long as you keep your Bluetti subscription for any issues that may arise, with the exception of user error or gross negligence. -
Q3: Is this the same as financing or a rent-to-own program?
This is not a rent-to-own program. When you cancel your Bluetti subscription, you are required to return your AC180 Solar Portable Power Station. The goal of the program is to provide ongoing value through a variety of benefits as well as new future products, not to create more options to buy a AC180 Solar Portable Power Station. -
Q4: Can I cancel anytime? Are there any hidden fees?
Yes, you can cancel your Bluetti subscription at any time. No contract, hidden fees, or gotchas. We cover the return shipping label as well. -
Q5: What if I want to upgrade my BLUETTI AC180?
This is not a rent-to-own program, as our Bluetti subscription includes flexibility, service components, future upgrade opportunities, and a lifetime warranty. However, you may still contact us if you are interested in purchasing your AC180 Solar Portable Power Station, as we are often able to create an option where a portion of your monthly payments to-date can be applied as a discount against the listing price. -
Q6: What if the BLUETTIE AC180 is damaged?
Please contact us as soon as possible. We will work with you to evaluate the cause, and with the exception of intentional, excessive, or grossly negligent damage, we will ship you a new product or component and cover shipping fees in both directions. Depending on the degree of user fault, you may be charged for replacement components, parts, or shipping fees. If you’d like further assistance, feel free to contact us at support@fragile.co. -
Q7: How do I track my order status?
Updates are sent to the email address you used to sign up. This includes: order in review, order approved, tracking number received (at which point you can opt for additional delivery status updates), out for delivery, and order delivered. Text messages are also sent for the initial order request and delivery of your package. If you’d like further assistance, feel free to contact us at support@fragile.co.
